Good Eats: Hugo's Restaurant

Bloody Mary's, obviously.
An LA staple for years, Hugo's Restaurant combines unique menu items, an extensive tea list, and a health conscious approach to making delicious food. (Though during my most recent visit, I said screw you to the "vegan/health conscious" choices and ordered the Pasta Papa dish.)

Pasta Papa
The Pasta Papa dish, (aka your hangover's best friend) is an overwhelmingly wonderful flavor explosion. Fresh, house-made spaghetti, scrambled eggs, chicken Italian sausage, bacon and cilantro all mixed together topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. Damn, just writing about it is making me salivate.

The Avocado Hummus Wrap is another great choice too. Especially if you're not fighting the aftermath of night characterized by Jaegar Bombs and a Chorizo quesadilla off a questionable food truck. The wrap entails a spinach tortilla with avocado, tomato, cucumber, hemp hummus & sunflower sprouts with a drizzle of sesame-ginger dressing. Dank.
