Papa Lagerfeld has done it again, taking female admiration of all things
shiny, sparkly and bright, and translating that love into a head-to-toe
crystal clothing extravaganza. With a runway more akin to a fairytale
cave with large white, gray and amethyst crystals rising from the floor,
crystal encrusted eyebrows and crystal bangles, it is safe to say
crystals have never seen a bigger debut. As for the actual garments,
Chanel F12 is a mixture of rich jewel tones, asymmetric shapes and yes,
skirts over pants. With practically every look featuring a
pant-skirt/dress combo, the layering trend fiercely perseveres into the
upcoming season. So ladies rejoice! We have been given the official 'go-ahead' to keep
our gams warm with pants while still rocking a sassy dress.
