On that fated day in February, one year ago, LCD Soundsystem
announced that they would play one final show at Madison Square Garden
to bid their fans farewell. They were "breaking up," and with those
heavy words, one of the best live dance/jam bands of our generation was
dead.
Well, not quite exactly dead...
Because this past Sundance Film Festival premiered Shut Up and Play the Hits,
a documentary following James Murphy during that last performance.

For anyone who loves LCD Soundsystem and was not lucky enough to be at their last performance, Shut Up and Play the Hits, is a dream come true. Just watching the trailer has re-evoked my obsession for the band. I have been listening to their music for 2 weeks straight now.
